In November 2001, Latino Pride sponsored the West Chester Fire Effort to help a family that lost everything.This fire also destroyed the familys home.

Members of Latino Pride collected money during homeroom and lunches from November 9 - 16. Boxes were also placed in the front lobby for non-perishable food items and clothing donations. Members of Latino Pride greatly appreciated the unselfish generosity demonstrated by the East High School students and staff. We collected over $1,000 dollars.
